Kamran Binaee

Kamran Binaee is a Senior Computer Vision Researcher/Engineer at Magic Leap since February 2022, specializing in eye tracking technologies. Previously, Kamran worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Nevada, Reno, focusing on SLAM and outdoor eye tracking in collaboration with the Center for Integrative Neuroscience. Kamran has also held research internships at NVIDIA and Magic Spell Studios, contributing to projects in E-Sports and visual-motor performance. Kamran's academic background includes a PhD in Imaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Guilan, with extensive experience in vision research through various roles at the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science and earlier as an Embedded Hardware Developer at Farineh Fanavar Co.
