Lan Xing

Lan Xing is a highly experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer in Calibration at Magic Leap since January 2023. Previous positions include Hardware Engineer at Argo AI, where responsibilities involved collaborating with OEMs to define tolerance requirements, and Mechanical Engineer at Hendrickson, focusing on innovative suspension design for the Chinese market. Lan has also held engineering roles at FS-Elliott Co., LLC, enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and completed internships at Akustica, Faurecia Automotive, and Lotus Air-Conditioner Factory, contributing to product data management and air-conditioning design. Lan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA from The University of Akron, and a Bachelor's degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
