Stephen Rugg

Stephen Rugg is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in structural simulation and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Principal Structural Simulation Engineer at Magic Leap since February 2020, Stephen previously held the role of Technical Services Manager and Consulting Engineer at Mallett Technology, where responsibilities included conducting various Finite Element Analyses for diverse customers. Prior experience at Lockheed Martin encompassed multiple roles within the Engineering Leadership Development Program, including Mechanical Engineer and Deputy Program Manager, where significant projects such as the design of a mobile tactical command center and budget management for the Littoral Combat Ship were undertaken. Stephen holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
