Simon Hall possesses extensive experience in financial compliance and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Financial Compliance at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) since January 2020. Previous roles include Financial Compliance Consultant at the Global Partnership for Education, and a career break prior to 2019. Simon's background includes significant positions at BP as Ethics and Compliance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing compliance information, developing procedures, and providing training. Early career highlights include work as a Risk Consultant at KPMG, focusing on international compliance projects, and delivering auditing and assurance services at BDO UK LLP and UHY Hacker Young. Additionally, Simon has academic experience as a Senior Lecturer in Modern Languages at the University of Cumbria and as a Teacher of Modern Languages at Upholland High School.
