Sherry Wang

Sherry Wang has over two decades of experience in information technology and application development. Currently employed at Magnetar Capital since September 2009, Sherry Wang focuses on defining finance data requirements and designing application architectures for large data loads. Previous positions include Senior Application Developer at AlphaMetrix, Inc., where Sherry Wang developed applications that exceeded business expectations, and Technical Lead/Development Manager at Merrill Lynch, managing projects and aligning resources with business needs. Additional roles at CompuWare, Stadtech, XOR, Commerx, Metamor Technologies, Dominick's Finer Food, Inc., and Roman Transportation Systems, Inc. contributed to a diverse skill set in project management, application development, and performance optimization. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago.
