Himanshu Dhande

Himanshu Dhande has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and administrative roles. Himanshu'smost recent position was as a Battery Simulation Engineer at magniX, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Design Engineer at Aim Plast India (Pune) from 2021 to 2021.

In 2020, Himanshu worked at Decibels Lab, where they served as a Powertrain Simulation Engineer and a Decibels Community Lead. Himanshu'sresponsibilities included working on gear ratio selection for a two-speed transmission, modeling powertrain systems, and studying various aspects of electric vehicle powertrains.

In 2019, Himanshu was a Transmission Design Engineer at Baja, where they designed and developed powertrains for all-terrain vehicles and worked on sales and marketing. Before that, they had an internship as a Mechanical Intern at Brembo Brakes India Limited, where they conducted structural and thermal analysis of disc brakes.

Himanshu also has experience as an Administrative Head at D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, where they managed procurement and cost management activities. Himanshu began their professional journey in 2016 as an Engineer Intern at Sinew Techno Industries, where they designed plastic components and worked on CNC production.

Himanshu Dhande attended the Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Himanshu then went on to study at Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, a program that they will complete between 2021 and 2023. In addition to their formal education, Himanshu obtained a certification in Critical Thinking from LinkedIn in June 2021.
