Evan Jordan

Evan Jordan is a Design Engineer at Magnusson Klemencic Associates since July 2018, with prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, where research focused on mechanical bar splice acceptance criteria and large diameter shape-memory alloy bars for earthquake-resistant applications. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the same institution, Evan contributed to the construction of a scale ABC bridge utilizing pre-cast components and ultra high-performance concrete. Previous roles also include tutoring civil engineering students, serving as a Construction Management Intern at Shimmick Construction during the BART extension project, and working as a Structural Engineering Intern at Dynamic Isolation Systems, where involvement included the testing of seismic mitigation devices. Evan holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
