Rose Donna has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rose served as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Magpi, where they played a significant role in expanding the startup data collection firm into a global consulting firm. Rose worked closely with high-profile clients to structure project frameworks, manage budgets, and provide technical support. Rose also opened a second location in Nairobi to accommodate the company's growth.
In 2015, Rose became the Co-Owner of The Dew Drop Inn DC, a successful bar in a competitive location. Rose built the bar from the ground up, fostering strong community ties and receiving a high rating from customers. Additionally, Rose co-owned The Wonderland Ballroom, where they managed all aspects of the business operations, including logistics for private events.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Rose worked at the American Red Cross as a Business Operations Systems Associate and Database Analyst. Throughout their time there, they were promoted multiple times and held leadership positions in various committees. Rose was responsible for facilitating the development of a customized information management system for the department's project database upgrade.
Additionally, Rose has volunteered for The Sea Save Foundation starting in 2022, demonstrating their commitment to philanthropy.
Rose Donna obtained their Master of Information Technology degree from American InterContinental University in 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of Detroit Mercy from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Rose has obtained two additional certifications: a Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from the International TEFL Academy in October 2020 and a Digital Marketing Certificate from General Assembly in November 2018.
