Balasubramanian Mariappan B

Balasubramanian Mariappan B is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of power electronics and electric vehicle technology. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited since May 2019, focus includes the development of motor control units for three-wheeler and four-wheeler electric vehicles. Prior experience includes a role at ABB, where responsibilities encompassed the design of STATCOM and active filters for various applications, as well as an assistant consultant position at Tata Consultancy Services, involving the development of integrated battery chargers and hardware control algorithms. Early career experience was gained at EMCO LTD in a design capacity. Balasubramanian holds a Master of Technology in Power Systems and Power Electronics from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Power Electronics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
