Dr. Ashwin Dahake is an accomplished research scientist with a focus on wheat breeding currently employed at Mahyco since June 2016. Prior experience includes working at Monsanto Company from May 2014 to May 2016 in cotton breeding, where responsibilities involved line development and commercial breeding. Earlier, Dr. Dahake contributed to the Directorate of Groundnut Research in Junagadh from August 2009 to August 2010, concentrating on the development of stem rot resistance genotypes in groundnut, which encompassed mutation breeding and the maintenance of a sick plot. Dr. Dahake earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University between 2010 and 2014.
