Currently serving as Team Lead Research Scientist at Mahyco since December 2011, Surya has previously held positions as Associate Research Scientist and Junior Rice Breeder at Nath Biogenes (I) Ltd. and worked as a Rice Breeder and Regulatory Officer at Amareswara Agri-Tech Ltd. Educationally, Surya holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University and a B.Sc. in Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry from Pondicherry University, along with a diploma in Computer Programming & Application.
