Dewayne McQueen

DeWayne McQueen is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Vice President of Labor Relations and HR Business Partner at Maimonides Medical Center since November 2024. Prior to this role, DeWayne held several leadership positions at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, including Deputy Chief and Acting Deputy Chief of Talent Acquisition, where responsibilities included reimagining the talent acquisition process and partnering with leaders to develop strategic recruitment initiatives. Previous experience encompasses roles at Centene Corporation as Manager of Human Resources Business Partner, G4S as Human Resources Manager, and NLSI as Human Resources Manager, where DeWayne supported and advised on various HR matters for diverse employee populations. DeWayne earned a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo School of Management.
