John K. Walker

Stationary Engineer/ General Maintenance Mechanic ( Per Diem) at Main Line Health

John K. Walker has extensive experience in operations and maintenance within the gas and health sectors. Since April 1993, Walker has served as an Operations Supervisor at Philadelphia Gas Works, overseeing the operation of liquefaction, vaporization, and natural gas facilities while supervising union-covered operations personnel. Prior to this role, Walker worked as a Process Operator, managing equipment related to natural gas storage and distribution. In addition, Walker has held per diem positions as a Stationary Engineer and General Maintenance Mechanic at Main Line Health since December 2017, and previously from July 2008 to August 2010, responsible for operating boilers, chillers, and pumps to ensure proper temperature control in the hospital. Walker attended Community College of Philadelphia for General Studies and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School.
