Prior to this, Scott worked as Construction Manager at Doran Constructions from February 1989 to January 1995 and served as Contracts Manager at Girvan Corporation from December 1983 to January 1989. Scott began the professional journey as a Quantity Surveyor at Rider Hunt, where tenure lasted from January 1973 to November 1983. Educational background includes attendance at the University of New South Wales from 1973 to 1980.
