Tom Janenda

Tom Janenda serves as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Maine Community Foundation since September 2024. Previously, Tom co-owned Maine Local Market and The River Room Restaurant from April 2021 to November 2024, specializing in farm-fresh food and beverages from across Maine. Tom has extensive experience as the Owner of Elevate Consulting & Communications, LLC since January 2009, and served as Executive Director at Maine Votes / Maine Voices Network from April 2020 to April 2021. Additionally, Tom was President of Northeast Infrastructure Accelerator from June 2015 to April 2020. Tom holds a BA in Political Science from American University, earned between January 1989 and January 1991.
