Daniel Nigrin, MD, currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at MaineHealth and holds a position on the Board of Trustees for CHIME. Additionally, Daniel Nigrin is an Associate Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and a member of the Advisory Board for Divurgent. As a co-founder of Defective Records, Daniel Nigrin has been involved with the organization since 1994. Daniel Nigrin previously contributed as an advisor for Philips North America Informatics and held academic roles at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. With extensive experience in pediatric endocrinology, Daniel Nigrin served as CIO and Senior Vice President of Information Services at Boston Children's Hospital for 26 years. Academic qualifications include an MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a Master's in Medical Informatics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Harvard-MIT Medical Informatics Fellowship.
