Gaetano Sciuto has extensive experience in the fashion and eyewear industries. Gaetano has worked in various leadership positions, including CEO, President, and General Manager.
From 2023 to the present, Sciuto has served as the CEO of Maison Margiela. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2023, they were the CEO of Giorgio Armani Corporation.
Before joining Giorgio Armani, Sciuto held multiple roles at Fendi from 2008 to 2018. Gaetano served as the President of Fendi Americas from 2013 to 2018 and also held the position of Licenses and Accessories Division Director. In this role, they were responsible for managing Fendi's licenses and accessories division, including licensed business, joint ventures, and new business development. Gaetano was also involved in overseeing IS&T and Fendi Silk, both owned by LVMH, where they held key leadership positions.
Prior to Fendi, Sciuto was the General Manager of Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens from 2005 to 2008. Gaetano also held the position of VP at sola international from 1998 to 2008.
Earlier in their career, Sciuto held positions at Lotto Usa and Lotto Sport Italia Spa in the 1990s. Gaetano served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Lotto Usa and was the Export Manager at Lotto Sport Italia Spa.

Gaetano Sciuto began their education at Scuola Europea Varese, where they completed their Bachelor's degree from 1973 to 1984. Following this, they enrolled at Università Bocconi from 1985 to 1990, earning a degree in economics and commerce. Finally, they pursued a Master of International Management at Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1991 to 1993.
