Alexandre Cerqueira

Alexandre Cerqueira is an experienced retail management professional with a strong background in supermarket operations and sales development. Currently serving as District Manager for Carrefour Kenya at Majid Al Futtaim, Alexandre leads a team of 600 employees across multiple locations. Prior roles include Head of Sales Development for Carrefour Supermarket UAE, overseeing strategies for 90 supermarkets, and Area Manager, managing operations for 50 stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. With a progression from project management to store management roles in both the UAE and Qatar, Alexandre has demonstrated expertise in team leadership, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management of Organizations and Entrepreneurship from IDRAC Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Sales from Institut Carrel.
