Pearl Uzokwe

Pearl Uzokwe is an experienced legal and governance professional currently serving as the Director of Africa Forward at Catalyst 2030, focusing on social entrepreneurship aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Uzokwe is also a Board Member and Governance Committee Chair at Malala Fund. Previously, Uzokwe held several leadership roles within Sahara Group, including Director of Sahara Foundation and Director of Governance and Sustainability, where responsibilities encompassed corporate sustainability strategy and social impact initiatives. Uzokwe has extensive legal experience, having served as Senior Legal Manager and Legal Manager in the energy sector and as an Associate and Trainee Solicitor at various law firms, where significant transactional work was performed. Uzokwe holds a PGDL with distinction from the College of Law, London, and an LLB from the University of Bristol.
