MALKA
David Carpenter is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in various design roles. Currently serving as Creative Director at MALKA since April 2022, David also founded Liquid Solid Studios in October 2013, where serving as Creative Director. Previous positions include Creative (Marketing) Designer at Enplug from September 2018 to July 2021, and Associate Creative Director at SJR from July 2014 to September 2018, focusing on product design, UI/UX design, web design, and art direction. Earlier roles include Art Director with a specialization in UI/UX and web design, as well as Designer positions at Harvey and Landor Associates. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art and has also attended the Columbus College of Art & Design.

MALKA is a creative studio with the instincts of a creative agency, and built on the backbone of an agile production company. We don't just dream it, we create it; because we know how and we have everything we need to do it. We produce powerful brand narratives, live events, content feeds, ad campaigns and creative for some of the biggest brands in the world, produce daily live streams and entertainment for virtual audiences, and create thousands of pieces of video, design, and animated content across every visual medium that exists. We took what was typically done by multiple vendors and built it under a single roof. Not only does that allow our creatives to expand their capabilities—it elevates every piece of content that comes out of our studio. This is content at the speed of NOW. With facilities in Santa Monica, CA, and Jersey City, NJ and over 180 creatives, we plug in anywhere, anytime, on projects large and small, for brands and their agencies across every industry.
