Robert Day began their work experience in 2008 at The Music Sales Group as a Customer Service Administrator. Robert held this role from November 2008 until October 2014. In 2014, they joined Toolbox Group as a Web Developer and worked in that position until June 2018. From June 2018 onwards, they were promoted to the position of Head of Software Development at Toolbox Group.

Robert Day attended Anglia Ruskin University from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in Audio Music Technology. Robert successfully completed their degree with an upper second-class classification.
