Daniel Valles

Dan Valles serves as Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President, and Treasurer at Willamette University since April 2015, overseeing a $100 million budget and supervising a large operations division. Valles has extensive experience in financial planning, strategic implementation, and management at the university level, having previously held roles such as Vice President for Finance and Treasurer and Associate Vice President for Financial Operations. Prior experience includes key positions at Portland State University, where Valles managed auxiliary services and budget systems, and at Sodexo, leading food service operations across multiple school districts. Valles holds a Master of Science in Financial Analysis from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Hospitality Management from the University of San Francisco.
