Ege Kaan Gürkan

Ege Kaan Gürkan has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. In 2020, they worked as an intern at Bitss Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. In 2021, they served as a Kubernetes Cluster Admin and Backend Developer at BK Mobil, where they gained expertise in various tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Node.js, PHP, Laravel, CI/CD workflows, and machine learning applications. In 2022, they joined LAYERMARK as a Systems Engineer and Backend Developer, primarily focusing on creating an unmanaged Kubernetes cluster infrastructure and working on backend tasks using Java Spring Boot. They also currently work at Maltego Technologies as an Integrations and Software Developer.

Ege Kaan Gürkan started their educational journey in 2014 and completed their high school education at ODTÜ Geliştirme Vakfı Okulları in 2018, earning a High School Diploma. Ege Kaan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Bilkent University from 2018 to 2023.

In terms of certifications, Ege Kaan Gürkan obtained several certifications related to Google Kubernetes Engine. Additionally, they completed the "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" course on Coursera in August 2020. Moreover, in November 2019, they obtained the "Google Cloud Platform Essentials" certification from Google Developers. Finally, they were honored as an Honour Student by Bilkent University in June 2018.
