Komal Ramdey

Komal Ramdey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as an Administration and Research Coordinator at CSR Works. Komal then joined SBI Youth for India in 2014 as a Project Fellow, where they focused on raising awareness about Menstrual Hygiene Management and Nutrition in a tribal village in Gujarat. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Aakar Innovations as an Assistant Manager, leading awareness development efforts and conducting training workshops on Menstrual Hygiene Management.

In 2016, Komal served as a Partnership Coordinator at Naz Foundation (India) Trust, where they led a team and forged partnerships for gender mainstreaming projects using sports for development. Komal then returned to Aakar Innovations in 2020 as a Consultant, developing strategies for disseminating their Behavioral Change Curriculum program.

Komal has also been involved in research and academic roles. In 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, assisting with literature review for ongoing research on the politics of the future of work. Komal also worked as a Project Group Researcher at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, focusing on research projects.

In their most recent role at Maltego Technologies, starting in 2022, Komal serves as a Program Coordinator in Customer Education. Komal'sresponsibilities include identifying training needs, designing e-learning courses, coordinating pre- and post-training processes, and analyzing customer training feedback.

Additionally, Komal has worked with UNOPS as an Individual Contractor, conducting Menstrual Hygiene Management training across multiple Indian states and representing India at regional training events. Komal also worked as a Team Member on inclusive MHM tools development.

Overall, Komal Ramdey has gained valuable experience in program coordination, research, partnership management, and capacity building in various sectors, with a special focus on Menstrual Hygiene Management.

Komal Ramdey's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology until 2011. Following that, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Panjab University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science.

In 2019, Komal Ramdey continued their education at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt, focusing on Public Policy. Komal'sstudies at this institution lasted until 2021.

Aside from their formal education, Komal Ramdey has also obtained various certifications. Komal completed the "Basic Security in the Field (Level - II)" certification from UNDSS in February 2017. In December 2015, they became a Master Trainer for Menstrual Hygiene Management through the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council. Following this, they obtained several certifications, including "Social Norms and Social Change" from UNICEF, "Design Thinking for the Greater Good - Innovation in the Social Sector" from the University of Virginia, "Finance for Non-Finance Professionals" from Rice University, "Foundations of Project Management" from Google, and "Training and Development with Eduflow" from Coursera. Komal also completed certifications in "Agile Project Management" from Google, "Google Project Management Professional Certificate" from Coursera, and "Instructional Design Essentials" from LinkedIn. Most recently, in April 2023, they received certification in "Social Protection - A Primer" from the Institute of Development Studies.
