Imad TOUMI is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Groupe Managem since January 2016, TOUMI previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at La Mancha from January 2013 to December 2015 and was a Board Member of Société des Mines d'ITY. Prior to this, TOUMI was Managing Director at AREVA NIGER from July 2007 to January 2013, focusing on mining projects across Africa, Kazakhstan, and Canada, and was involved with several boards including SOMAIR and IMOURAREN SA. TOUMI’s earlier roles at AREVA, from 2002 to 2007, included Managing Director and VP of Mining Projects, alongside a significant tenure at CEA and a solid educational background with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.
