Awoungu Rene Ashumbang

Awoungu Rene Ashumbang serves as the Director of Finance and Operations at Management Sciences for Health since September 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Regional Finance Manager for the Sahel Region at IDLO - International Development Law Organization from August 2023 to September 2024, and Country Finance Manager at the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact, Georgetown University from November 2019 to August 2023. Ashumbang has also held positions such as Senior Finance Officer and Finance Officer at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Country Finance Manager at Federación Internacional de Fe y Alegría, Finance Officer at AKS East Africa Ltd, Accountant at Bambili Water Authority, and Trainee in the Accounting and Finance Department at North West Cooperative Association Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Kenyatta University, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Bamenda University of Science and Technology, a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from National Polytechnic Bambui, and an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from Ecole Normal Supérieure Annexe Bambili.
