Management Solutions
Scott Major began their work experience in 2003 at ImagePoint, where they worked as an Engineering Manager of Outsourced Product/Design Engineer. Scott later transitioned into a Design Engineer role. In 2009, they joined Management Solutions, LLC as an Engineer, providing project controls, estimating, process development, and programming services to government clients. Scott then moved on to Construction Project Solutions in 2010, where they served as a Project Controller, offering construction management services to government and commercial clients, primarily the US Army Corp of Engineers. In 2013, they returned to Management Solutions, LLC as a Senior Project Manager and Project Controls Specialist until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at CONSOLIDATED NUCLEAR SECURITY, LLC as an Earned Value Management Compliance Senior Analyst and Scheduling Senior Specialist. In 2019, they went back to Management Solutions as a Division Manager and Senior Project Controls Specialist, and in 2022, they became the Director of Project Management and Controls Practices.
Scott Major earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Scott attended the university from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Scott has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they became a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) through Prosci. In 2018, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute. Scott also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2013. Most recently, in 2022, they achieved SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
