Warren Gregson

Warren Gregson is a seasoned professional in applied physiology and performance science, currently serving as a Professor at Manchester Metropolitan University Institute of Sport since January 2023. Gregson holds extensive experience at Manchester United as a Research & Innovation Consultant, focusing on performance science solutions for senior teams. As a Founding Partner of Dopamine Sports Ventures, Gregson invests in and supports early-stage founders in the sports, entertainment, and media sectors. Previous roles include Professor of Exercise Physiology at Liverpool John Moores University, where Gregson led the Football Exchange, and as Head of Performance Science & R&D for Aspire Academy and Qatar Football Association, contributing to preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Early career experiences include positions at Durham University and Middlesbrough FC. Gregson holds an MBA from Durham University Business School and a PhD in Exercise Physiology from Teesside University.
