Prior to that, they served as the Vice President (Creative & Content) at Mandai Wildlife Group starting in 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of Group Chief Creative Officer at DDB Group Singapore. Before that, they worked as the Chief Creative Partner at J. Walter Thompson in 2016 and as the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Creative Officer at Leo Burnett Singapore from 2015 to 2016. Chris Chiu also founded Ren Partnership in 2012, where they served as the Founder / Chief Creative Officer until 2016. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Group Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett Singapore from 2007 to 2012, Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett Bangkok from 2005 to 2006, and Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett Kreasindo Indonesia from 2002 to 2005. Chris Chiu's extensive experience has allowed him to work in various leadership roles and contribute to the creative and strategic development of different companies.

Chris Chiu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University - Fresno from 1989 to 1992. Before that, from 1985 to 1986, Chris attended Catholic Junior College. And from 1981 to 1984, Chris attended St Patrick's. No degree or field of study was specified for the latter two.
