Jared Mandel has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Jared is currently the Head of Operations at Mandel Dermatology, a position they have held since February 2018. In addition, they are the Co-Owner and Vice President of Sundown Ski & Patio Greenvale, a role they took on in August 2021.
Jared has also been involved in entrepreneurial ventures. Jared co-founded and served as the CEO of DocBright, a dermatology telehealth platform, which they started in February 2020. At Mandel Group, they co-founded the company and served as the President starting in January 2019.
Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Jared worked at JetBlue Airways in various roles, including Senior Analyst and Analyst in Customer Experience Programs (Innovation), as well as an Intern in Corporate Communications. Jared made significant contributions to the development of operational applications, digital signage, and customer communications, all aimed at improving the overall customer experience.
Jared's work experience also includes positions at Syracuse University Ambulance, where they served as a Supervisor overseeing emergency medical services personnel, and at Jinkel Specialists Inc., a promotional products distribution company that they co-founded at the age of 16.
Throughout their career, Jared has demonstrated their ability to lead, innovate, and drive positive change in various organizations and industries.
Jared Mandel completed their B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2013. Jared then pursued their M.S. in Information Management with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Social Media from the Syracuse University School of Information Studies, graduating in 2015.

Mandel Dermatology was founded in 1963 when Dr. Samuel Mandel began practicing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. In 1994, his son Dr. Mitchell J. Mandel joined the practice and he continues to lead it by placing an emphasis on exceptional patient care, state of the art treatments, and a comfortable setting for patients of all ages and skin types. Our mission at Mandel Dermatology is to provide consistent, modern, friendly, and effective patient care at all of our offices and with any of our providers.
