Steve Perakis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve started their career as a Senior Project Engineer at Design Systems, Inc. in 1998. In 1998, they also joined International Truck and Engine, where they worked in Industrial Engineering, managing labor standards and auditing the labor system. In 2009, Steve joined Mango Languages as the Director of Product Development, overseeing production of language learning software and driving departmental efforts towards successful releases. Steve later held roles as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Mango Languages, where they focused on resource utilization, growth, and aligning company goals and initiatives.
Steve Perakis earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Afterward, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2007 to 2009.
