Hawa Sylla

Hawa Sylla is a Research and Development Software Engineer at Manhattan Associates since August 2022, focusing on migrating monolithic architecture to scalable microservices on Google Cloud Platform, achieving a 40% increase in system scalability. Additionally, Hawa optimized CI/CD pipelines, resulting in a 75% reduction in deployment failures and a 30% acceleration in release cycles. As a current member of Rewriting the Code, Hawa previously held roles at Opportunity Hub as an OHUB.SXSW Student Fellow, where efforts were focused on promoting tech skills and entrepreneurship among disadvantaged communities, and at Portfolium as a Student Ambassador/Creative Lead, facilitating multimedia projects and marketing activities.
