Mona Wafaai is an experienced educator currently serving as the School Director at Moon Gardens International School since August 2023 and as the School Principal at Manhattan International School since July 2021. Mona has been a long-term volunteer at AFS Intercultural Programs since January 2012, contributing to the development of global skills in young people. Prior positions include School Principal and KG Principal at Modern American School of Egypt from 2015 to July 2021, and Elementary Principal at Akhnaton International School from August 2013 to August 2016. Additionally, Mona served as High School Principal at Rajac American School for Girls from September 2000 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Notting Hill College.
