Dan Hallstrom

Dan Hallstrom serves as the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Manifold since August 2019, where strategic leadership and the execution of AI/ML service offerings are primary responsibilities. Hallstrom has previously held positions such as Director of Data Science at both Manifold and eLynx, focusing on AI/ML solutions and team leadership for client engagements. Prior to that, Hallstrom worked at PwC as a Director of Data Science, contributing to business development and client engagements within the Data and Analytics Hub. Further experience includes serving as Lead Quantitative Modeler at Ascend Analytics, Managing Partner at Finntana, and Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University, where Hallstrom developed a recognized research program in quantitative economics. Hallstrom holds a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a Master's degree in the same field from Montana State University-Bozeman.
