James Phelan

James Phelan is the current Vice President of Finance at Mantel, having joined in November 2024. Previously, James served as Vice President of Product Development and Legal Counsel at Verdox, a cleantech company focused on carbon capture technology. Prior experience includes roles at Cabot Corporation as Senior Finance Manager and at Joule Unlimited Technologies as Manager of Strategic Projects, both in the alternative energy and specialty chemicals sectors. James also held various positions at ExxonMobil, including Global Capital Project Manager, showcasing extensive experience in finance, operations, and project management in the energy and technology sectors. James holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
