Matthew Kinney has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Matthew started their career at RNK Communications as a Legal & Regulatory Analyst in 2003 and later worked as a Manager of Regulatory Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for drafting contract templates, participating in agency rulemaking proceedings, and managing the due diligence process during company acquisition. In 2011, Matthew joined Mantis Innovation as a Counsel, providing legal advice and representation to the company. Matthew then advanced to the position of Senior Corporate Counsel, where they negotiated and reviewed complex legal documents, advocated before state regulatory agencies, and advised various organizational constituents. Currently, they hold the position of Asst. General Counsel/V.P. of Regulatory Affairs at Mantis Innovation.

Matthew Kinney has a J.D. degree from New England Law | Boston, which they obtained in 2010. Prior to that, they completed a M.S.Ed. degree in Secondary Education at Canisius College. Before their M.S.Ed., they earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Syracuse University. In addition, Matthew Kinney has obtained the Massachusetts Bar--Admitted certification in November 2010.
