Erik Mate

Erik Mate has held a variety of roles in the finance industry since 2012. Erik's most recent role is Head of Finance at Mantra Health, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were VP Finance at Contentfly from 2021 to 2022. In 2020, they were an MBA Candidate at Cambridge Judge Business School. From 2017 to 2021, they were VP of Finance and Finance Director & Controller at New York Shipping Exchange (NYSHEX). From 2014 to 2017, they were Head of Corporate Accounting at Fundrise. Erik began their career in 2012 as an Assurance Associate and Audit Intern at KPMG.

Erik Mate is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at both the University of Cambridge and Cambridge Judge Business School. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and studied Accounting and Business/Management at the University of Valencia. Erik Mate also holds a North Carolina CPA certification. Erik graduated from Middletown High School South.
