Akira Tada

Akira Tada is an experienced executive with a diverse background in digital business strategy and technology innovation. Currently serving as the Head of Executive Briefing Center and Executive Digital Business Strategist at SoftBank since October 2017, Akira leads the Executive Briefing Program and manages a team focused on technology use cases and partnerships. Additional roles include Chief Evangelist and Executive Advisor at Mapbox and other advisory positions at companies such as Cambridge Mobile Telematics and Plenty, Inc. Previous experience includes leadership roles at SoftBank Group, SoftBank Mobile, and Nihon PayPal KK, where Akira oversaw strategic alliances, business development, and innovative mobile payment initiatives. Akira holds a foundation degree in Information Engineering from Kagawa National College of Technology.
