Yuki Nakamura

Yuki Nakamura is a skilled Platform Engineer at Mapbox since February 2022, previously serving as a Backend Engineer at IBM Japan Digital Services Company (IJDS) from April 2016 to February 2022, where Yuki led the Middleware Team for a Workflow Management System Project for a Credit Card Company. Key technologies utilized include Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud, IBM Cloud Databases for PostgreSQL, Fluentd, Sysdig, and Helm. Yuki designed a highly available and fault-tolerant architecture by distributing pods across multiple worker nodes in different zones and streamlined the deployment of middleware to various environments using Helm. Yuki holds a master's degree in precision engineering from The University of Tokyo, earned from 2009 to 2016.
