Maritza Soria

Maritza Soria is an experienced professional in the fields of regulatory affairs and research. Currently serving as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate and Senior Research Associate at MapLight Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2020, Maritza has designed and executed behavioral pharmacology experiments, implemented new protocols, and authored technical reports. Prior roles include contributions to drug discovery as a Research and Compound Management Associate and individual STEM tutoring at Elevate Tutoring. Maritza also has a background in academic research as a BioMolecular Student Researcher at Santa Clara University, focusing on novel cancer treatments. Earlier experience includes roles in outdoor program coordination, fundraising, and administrative assistance.
