Romans Jakovickis is an experienced professional in customer service and support, currently serving as a Client Knowledge Specialist and Customer Support Specialist at Mapon since October 2022. Prior to this role, Romans worked at TELUS International as a PSO from May 2021 to August 2022 and at Luminor Group as a Customer Risk Management Specialist for a brief period in early 2021. As a Freelance Translator from March 2017 to January 2021, Romans specialized in editing and translations between Russian and Latvian, as well as English and Latvian. Previous positions also include roles as a Senior Russian CSR and CSR for Western Union at Transcom from June 2014 to May 2017, and as a Tour/Holiday Representative at Mouzenidis Travel in 2013. Romans holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations/Image Management from Baltic International Academy (2012-2016) and completed secondary education with a focus on Mathematics and Technical skills at Rīgas 95. vidusskola (2009-2012).
