Philippe Lavertu has a diverse work experience. Philippe started their career as a Senior Analyst at National City Capital Markets and later transitioned to National City Bank as a Senior Analyst in Debt Capital Markets. After that, they worked as an MBA Intern at The Riverside Company and as an MBA Associate at ZelnickMedia/ZM Capital. Philippe then pursued an MBA degree at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Following their MBA, Lavertu founded ELLCO Advisory Group where they served as the Founder and Principal. Currently, Lavertu is the Chief Operating Officer at Marathon Capital, where they previously held roles as Vice President, Director of Operations, and Vice President of Business Development.

Philippe Lavertu completed their education in a chronological order starting in 1998. From 1998 to 2002, they attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. During the same period, Lavertu also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Ohio State University.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Lavertu pursued further education at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2007 to 2009. Philippe earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Lavertu has obtained various certifications. In August 2018, they acquired the Series 24 certification from FINRA. Furthermore, they hold the Series 79 and Series 63 licenses, which were obtained from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
