Maha Sohail is currently serving as the N-TUTORR Student Champion for Education for Sustainability at the Technological Higher Education Association since July 2023. As a PhD Scholar at MaREI, Maha focuses on Energy Resilience and the Built Environment, funded under the EPSRC-SFI CDT. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Project Manager at Professional Resource Associates, where responsibilities included construction plan analysis and project proposal assistance, and as a YouTube Channel Content Writer for Ghar Plans. Additional positions held involve architectural roles at Innovation Home Products and Real Builders, alongside writing for Humans of Pakistan. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Munster Technological University, an MSc in Architectural Engineering Design from The University of Sheffield, and a BSc in Architectural Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

MaREI
MaREI is the marine and renewable energy research, development and innovation Centre supported by Science Foundation Ireland. It combines the expertise of a wide range of research groups and industry partners, with the shared mission of solving the main scientific, technical and socio-economic challenges across the marine and renewable energysectors. MaREI is coordinated by the Environmental Research Institute (ERI) at University College Cork and has over 200 researchers working across 6 academic institutions collaborating with over 45 industry partners.
