Anton De Weerd

Anton De Weerd is the SVP at Marel. Anton has also worked as the Managing Director (EVP) at Marel Poultry from July 2007 to September 2019, the Director (SVP) at Marel Holding BV from September 2019 to February 2022, and the President at Marel Stork Poultry Processing Inc. from September 2008 to January 2016. Prior to that, they were the Sales & Marketing Manager at Stork PMT B.V. from January 1994 to March 2002.

Anton De Weerd studied mechanical engineering at HTS den Bosch. Afterward, they completed a General Management Leergang Stork at Nyenrode Business University. Finally, they became a Wachtmeester stukscommandant at Artillerie Schietkamp Oldenbroek.

Anton De Weerd reports to Árni Oddur Thórdarson, CEO. They work with David Wilson - EVP & MD Merel Meat, Gudbjorg Heida Gudmundsdottir - EVP, Marel Fish, and Ulrika Lindberg - EVP Service.
