Bert Den Biesen

Bert Den Biesen is a seasoned maintenance engineer specializing in electrical systems and industrial equipment, currently employed at MARIN since July 2007. Responsibilities include overseeing the electrical aspects of facility machinery, managing repairs and maintenance, leading internal projects, and developing existing installations. Prior to this role, Bert served as a PLC programmer at Huisman Elektrotechniek from March 2000 to July 2007, and worked in embedded electronics development at Verkuijlen BV from 1988 to 2000. Bert's foundational experience includes roles in military service as a driver and radio mechanic, and as an electronics technician at Eurocoin Gaming BV. Education includes an Ing degree in Electronics and Energy Technology from HTS, along with multiple certifications in safety standards and electrical engineering from various institutions, including Siemens and Van der Heide.
