Henk Prins

Henk Prins is an experienced manager in the maritime research and development sector, currently serving as the Manager of R&D at MARIN since May 1995. Responsibilities include overseeing all R&D activities, managing the department, and coordinating significant EU projects focused on energy-saving technologies and underwater noise reduction. Henk holds additional managerial roles, such as IT Manager and Project Manager, emphasizing the development of scientific applications and software engineering. Henk has also contributed to various organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Board for WaterborneTP and Vessels for the Future, and as a council member and vice-chairman of ECMAR since 2011. Henk's educational background includes a PhD and MSc in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology.
