Isabella Gaw

Isabella Gaw currently serves as the Automated Aquatic Facility Manager and Marine Aquarist at Marine Biological Laboratory since January 2024. Prior to this role, Isabella Gaw was the Director of the Natural Science Museum at the Maria Mitchell Association from May 2022 to December 2023 and held various positions at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, including Graduate Assistant from August 2019 to August 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as Aquarium Manager and Postbac Research Assistant at the Maria Mitchell Association and Field Intern at Bimini Biological Field Station Foundation, providing a strong background in aquarium management, research, and marine conservation. Isabella Gaw's education includes a Master's degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Skidmore College.
