Ben Wagner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ben is currently the Head of Customer Projects at Marinus Link since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at TasNetworks from 2014 to 2023, where they served as Leader Strategy, responsible for developing business strategy and plans, coordinating improvement programs, and managing shareholder relations. Before TasNetworks, they worked at Transend Networks as a Strategy and Risk Manager from 2005 to 2014. Ben also has experience in investment management at BCR Asset Management Pty Ltd from 1999 to 2005. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Operations Manager at Pipers Brook Vineyard Limited from 1998 to 1999 and Project Manager - Business Development at the Department of Economic Development, Tasmania from 1994 to 1998.

About Marinus Link Marinus Link is a proposed undersea and underground electricity and telecommunications connector between Tasmania and Victoria. It will cross Bass Strait, connecting into existing electricity networks near Burnie in Tasmania and the Latrobe Valley in Victoria, and is currently in the design and approvals phase. Marinus Link Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of TasNetworks, which plans, owns and operates Tasmania’s electricity network. In October 2022, the Tasmanian, Victorian and Australian governments agreed to joint ownership of Marinus Link.
