Rupesh Vernekar

Rupesh Vernekar has over two decades of experience in software engineering and technology leadership. Currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Markel since August 2020, Rupesh previously held various senior roles at Synechron from May 2009 to August 2020, including Director - Technology and Sr. Manager - Software. Rupesh co-founded Protondreams in 2008 and worked at Approva Systems Pvt Ltd. in multiple technical roles from 2003 to 2008. Early career experience includes a Software Engineer position at Herald Publications Pvt. Ltd. from 2001 to 2003. Rupesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computers from Goa Engineering College, completed in 2001.
