Marketing Science Institute
John Lynch is a University of Colorado System Distinguished Professor at the Leeds School of Business, where Lynch has been teaching since June 2009, and served as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research from 2017 to 2020. Lynch also holds the position of Executive Director at the Marketing Science Institute since January 2022. Prior to this, Lynch was the Roy J. Bostock Professor of Marketing at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business from July 1996 to June 2009 and was recognized for research in consumer behavior, market research methods, and internet marketing. Additional academic positions include serving as Leverhulme Trust Professor of Marketing at the London Business School and Graduate Research Professor at the University of Florida. Lynch earned an MA and PhD in Social Psychology and a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has engaged in teaching well-received MBA marketing courses along with Ph.D. students.
